On Monday 16th December 2024 the Prince Rupert Lodge No.7841 celebrated two momentous occasions, a 50 year anniversary and also a new member joining the lodge.
The lodge's 237th regular meeting was held at Freemasons' Hall in Leicester. It was the last meeting before Christmas, and the Head of Leicestershire & Rutland Freemasons and his team attended to offer their support.
The main topics on the evening's agenda were to welcome Tony Kerr, a new member, into the lodge and present a certificate celebrating 50 years to the day of Michael Rook. Peter Kinder and his team of Provincial Officers watched on as Tony was shown around the lodge room. Afterwards, Peter took the floor to present the certificate to Michael, a well-deserved achievement for his general services to the lodge and Freemasonry.
Afterwards, a superb meal was enjoyed, expertly prepared and served by the team at Devonshire Place.
