Leicester, Friday 7th November 2025 – Members of the Lodge of Welcome No. 5664 gathered at Freemasons’ Hall, Leicester, for their annual installation meeting, where they elected and installed their new Master for the coming year.
After a successful year under the leadership of Dean Pidcock, the Master’s chair was handed over to Richard Howe, who was duly installed as Master of the Lodge in a ceremony filled with tradition, dignity, and fraternal warmth.
The meeting took place in the beautiful Holmes Lodge Room at Freemasons’ Hall, providing a fitting setting for such an important occasion in the Lodge calendar. During the ceremony, the newly installed Master appointed and invested his team of Lodge officers, who will support him throughout his year in office.
The Lodge was also honoured by the presence of Dale Page, representing the Province of Leicestershire & Rutland, who joined members and guests to celebrate the occasion.
Following the formal proceedings, brethren and visitors enjoyed a superb four-course festive board provided by the team at Devonshire Place, where the evening continued in excellent spirit and good fellowship.
The Lodge of Welcome No. 5664 looks forward to another successful year under the guidance of Richard, building on the achievements of the past twelve months and continuing its proud tradition within the community of Leicester.
