On the 9th September 2025, Russell Scott-Worthington was installed into the Chair of King Solomon, taking the reins of the Ferrers & Ivanhoe Lodge in Ashby.

This was a very special evening on several counts, as Russell is a Lewis, meaning that his father is also a Freemason. The night was complete as Russell’s father, Trevor, attended, who, in time-honoured tradition, addressed the members at the closing part of the evening. Not being content with his role in the lodge room, Trevor was also pleased to toast all of the visitors who were present at the meal afterwards.
The Lodge also had the pleasure of twenty-one members from Warwickshire who had made the journey to wish Russell well for his year at the helm.
The Lodge was pleased to welcome Gary McVeigh, who was representing the Province of Leicestershire & Rutland, along with Tony Marson.
