Royal Arch Masons Gather in Leicester for Annual Meeting

Thursday, 26th March 2026

Freemasons’ Hall in Leicester was alive with energy on Thursday as Royal Arch Masons from Leicestershire, Rutland, and neighbouring provinces assembled for their Annual Meeting. The event, a highlight of the Masonic calendar, drew a strong attendance as companions came together to witness the appointment of officers for the year ahead.

The meeting was presided over by the head of Royal Arch Masonry in the two counties, Noel Manby, supported by his executive team of Jonathan Varley, Phil Dodd, and Andy Green. Their leadership set a warm and dignified tone for the proceedings, which celebrated both continuity and renewal within the Order.

Following the formal business of the day, more than 120 companions remained to enjoy a convivial festive board. The atmosphere was one of genuine fellowship, with conversation flowing as freely as the wine.

A particular highlight of the evening was a thoughtful and heartfelt toast to Noel Manby, delivered by Mark Street, whose words captured both the respect and affection felt across the chapter for their leader.

The Annual Meeting once again showcased the strength, unity, and good humour that characterise Royal Arch Masonry in Leicestershire and Rutland, setting a confident course for the year ahead.
