Members of the Leicestershire & Rutland Royal Arch Freemasons gathered in fine form on Tuesday, 11th November 2025, to support the Installation evening of Temperantia Chapter No. 4088.
The Provincial delegation was led by Jonathan Varley, Deputy Grand Superintendent, accompanied by a strong team of Provincial Officers. Their attendance highlighted the close bonds and mutual support within the Royal Arch community across the Province.
The evening proved to be a memorable occasion. The Companions of Temperantia Chapter conducted their Installation ceremony with remarkable skill and precision, demonstrating their deep understanding of the story of the Royal Arch. Their confident and polished performance allowed the visiting Provincial team to simply sit back and enjoy the proceedings — a rare treat for a group more accustomed to taking part in the work.
Following the formalities, Companions and guests alike enjoyed a convivial festive board, marked by fellowship, laughter, and excellent dining.
Reflecting on the evening, Jonathan Varley said:
“I have been a regular visitor to Temperantia Chapter and was delighted to bring the team along with me to show our support for the wonderful job you are doing.”
The visit was another fine example of the unity and good spirit that defines Royal Arch Masonry in Leicestershire & Rutland — a fraternity that continues to thrive through dedication, camaraderie, and shared purpose.
