The 74th Installation meeting of St Mary’s Lodge No. 7164 took place on Monday at the Melton Mowbray Masonic Hall, marking another proud moment in the lodge’s long and distinguished history.
In a well‑attended ceremony, the outgoing Master Ian Perry, formally handed over the Chair to his successor, John Faulks, who was installed with warmth, dignity, and the full support of the members present. The atmosphere in the lodge room reflected both continuity and renewal, as members gathered to celebrate the beginning of a new Masonic year.
St Mary’s Lodge was honoured by the presence of the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Dale Page, accompanied by Paul Tomkins, whose attendance added further significance to the evening. Their support and encouragement were warmly received by the members.
Following the ceremony, members and guests enjoyed the hospitality of the Melton Mowbray Masonic Hall, sharing a convivial festive board and reflecting on a successful and memorable Installation meeting.
St Mary’s Lodge now looks forward to the year ahead under its newly installed Master, continuing its proud tradition of fellowship, charity, and Masonic excellence.
