St Wilfrid’s Lodge Hosts Successful Summer Garden Party & BBQ

St Wilfrid’s Lodge No. 8350 of Market Harborough held its annual Summer Garden Party and BBQ on Sunday 21st June 2026, set against the beautiful backdrop of Graham and Amanda Allen’s Marston Trussell home. The stunning setting, combined with glorious weather, made for a perfect afternoon of fellowship and relaxation.

More than 30 guests attended, including members of St Wilfrid’s Lodge, their partners, the Lodge’s newest member, and representatives from several visiting Lodges. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and full of the easy camaraderie that defines the Lodge’s summer gathering.

A raffle, along with the generous surplus raised from the food prepared by Graham and Amanda, helped bring the total funds raised to £355. It was unanimously agreed that the proceeds would be donated to LOROS, supporting the hospice’s vital work across Leicestershire and Rutland.

The Lodge extends its heartfelt thanks to Graham and Amanda for hosting once again, and to everyone who attended and contributed to a thoroughly enjoyable and successful afternoon.
