On Sunday 12 October, members of the Royal Arch in Leicestershire and Rutland, along with their families and friends, gathered at St Anne’s Church, Leicester for a special service celebrating the Royal Arch.
The event was organised by the Deputy Grand Superintendent, Jonathan Varley and the Second Provincial Grand Principal, Philip Dodd. The service was led by Rev Canon Michael Wilson, whose sermon was described by many as thoughtful and inspiring. The service featured a selection of well-loved hymns and beautiful music from the Tudor Choir, with readings delivered by members from two of our Chapters.
Following the service, attendees enjoyed a relaxed reception in the Church Hall, where wine and soft drinks were served. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, reflect, and share in the spirit of fellowship.
Grand Superintendent Noel Manby commented:
“Both Jackie and I had the opportunity to talk to many of those who were present, and they were all very complimentary about both the service and reception and, in particular, Michael’s rather thought-provoking sermon.”
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the afternoon so memorable. Your presence and support continue to strengthen the Royal Arch within our Province.
