Beacon Chapter welcomes four new Royal Arch members in landmark ceremony

Beacon Chapter No. 5208, part of Leicestershire and Rutland Freemasons, has marked a milestone by welcoming four new members to the Royal Arch at a single meeting.
Following a strong period of interest from new candidates, members of the chapter agreed to hold a special ceremony on Friday 13 February 2026. With support from the Province, the Chapter was able to bring four candidates through the Royal Arch joining ceremony (known as an Exaltation) in one evening.
The meeting was attended by Andrew Green, Third Provincial Grand Principal, along with a number of visitors. He congratulated the Chapter on the quality of the ceremony and the warm welcome offered to those taking part.
After being admitted, the four candidates took an active role in the later stages of the ceremony, helping to bring the story to life and sharing the experience together. By the end of the evening, each had completed the next step in his masonic journey and was formally welcomed as a Royal Arch Companion.
Royal Arch Freemasonry is the natural next stage for many Freemasons. It builds on the values of "Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Service", and adds deeper meaning and context to the lessons of the Lodge in a way that is memorable, supportive, and shared with friends.
Beacon Chapter says it will continue to build on this momentum, maintaining high standards while ensuring that new members feel included, informed, and involved from the start.
