Nick Bradshaw, Master of Lodge of the Flaming Torch, was very thankful to the brethren of his lodge for their generous donations, and from the Provincial Charity, towards his chosen charity, Hope Against Cancer.
Nick, and his wife Sharren, attended the formal presentation with the CEO of Hope Against Cancer, Nigel Rose, who was delighted to receive a cheque for £4000.06. Nigel asked Nick to pass on his, and the charity's, grateful thanks to everyone involved. Other charitable causes that were beneficiaries of the lodge's fundraising were LOROS Tree of Life who received £81.00 and Toys on the Table who receive £372.00.
Nick was able to announce that over the two years he was Master of the Lodge, with the collective help of the brethren in the lodge and in the province, he managed to raise a almost £4,500 which, for a small lodge, was truly inspiring and amazing. An achievement that all involved should be so proud of.
