Installed First Principals Chapter Welcomes New Team – 17th March 2026

Royal Arch Freemasons in Leicestershire & Rutland are fortunate to have a thriving Chapter dedicated to Companions who have served in the Principals’ chairs. The Chapter of Installed First Principals follows the same traditions as any other Chapter, including the annual Installation of a new team to guide its work for the year ahead.

A strong turnout on 17 March saw members gather to witness the Installation of the new leadership team: Mark Street, Steve Skidmore, and Steve Finnigan, who now take the reins for the next twelve months.

Supporting the evening’s proceedings was Jonathan Varley, Deputy Grand Superintendent, who assisted during the ceremony and joined Companions at the festive board afterwards.

During the meeting, the newly installed First Principal, Mark Street, delivered a thought‑provoking and engaging address. His reflections on the evolving landscape of Royal Arch Freemasonry, shaped by his own experience over the years, offered both insight and inspiration, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.
