Members of the Jason Lodge No.7716, Leicester’s Freemasons lodge dedicated to cycling, were proud to attend Wednesday's fantastic inclusive cycling session at Abbey Park — and even prouder to present a donation of £2,731 to Leicester Wheels For All in support of their Great Central Rides project.

The event was especially memorable as it was attended by Chris Boardman CBE — Olympic champion, Active Travel England Commissioner, and now the new patron of the Wheels for All charity.
Chris Boardman visited the Leicester hub to show his support for inclusive, community-based cycling, championing opportunities that enable disabled people to enjoy cycling through specialised bikes, trikes, and adaptive equipment. As Chair of Sport England and a long-time advocate for active travel, he continues to highlight how accessible cycling can transform wellbeing and strengthen community spaces.
The Leicester Wheels for All club offers cycling for people of all ages and abilities, and we are thrilled that our donation will help them continue this vital work.
A huge thank you to lodge members and supporters whose generosity made this contribution possible. Together, we’re helping to bring the joy and freedom of cycling to everyone.
