Reynard Chapter No. 9285 marked its 100th Convocation on Monday, February 10th, 2025, at the Syston Masonic Hall.
This was a remarkable evening with three leaders in the Craft assuming the roles of Joshua, Haggi, and Zerubbabel to conduct an excellent exaltation ceremony for our candidate, Andrew Burton. This event exemplified the unity of One Journey, One organization, which is a fundamental characteristic of Craft and Royal Arch Masonry.
The evening was further enriched by the attendance of Deputy Grand Superintendent Jonathan Varley, who was joined by Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies Mark Street and a substantial delegation of Grand and Active Provincial Officers for the year.
The ceremony was attended by the three founders of the Chapter: Peter Kinder, David Hagger, and Anthony Wood, along with the chapter's first Exaltee (joining member), Roger Emmerson. The delightful ceremony was succeeded by a superb festive board, where forty-eight companions enjoyed a five-course meal replicating the consecration menu from 1990.
The evening concluded with toasts and presentations to the new companion, Andrew Burton, and a celebratory cheque of £100 was given to Jonathan Varley for the Grand Superintendent's discretionary fund.
