The Lodge of the Flaming Torch No. 4874 continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the most sociable and welcoming lodges. In recent months, members, friends, and families have enjoyed a lively calendar of events ranging from skittles evenings to curry nights and a variety of informal get‑togethers.
On Sunday 29th March, the Lodge took its convivial spirit to the Wycliffe Rooms in Lutterworth, where members filled three large tables for the venue’s popular monthly Sunday Lunch.

The afternoon was organised by Lodge Treasurer, and ever‑dedicated Charity Steward, Nick Bradshaw, supported by his wife Sharren. Their efforts ensured a relaxed and enjoyable occasion, giving everyone the chance to share good food and even better company.
A highlight of the day came in the form of a surprise celebration for three members marking their birthdays. Roger Preston, Gary Grant, and Richard Barnett were each treated to cake and a hearty rendition of “Happy Birthday,” much to their delight.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon; well organised, well attended, and another fine example of the Lodge’s commitment to fellowship and fun.
