The Union of Rugby Lodge were invited to attend the London Rugby Lodge meeting on the 23rd May 2025, the meeting was to be held at Duke Street, St James, London.
Our very own Union of Rugby Lodge No.9989 was represented by Paul Cave and John Chambers, who not only attended the meeting, but took in the sights of the capital over several days.
The London Rugby Lodge put on an excellent show for the visitors, with Joshua Tucker being the new member welcomed into the ranks of our membership. Joshua, being a “Lewis” (the term for the son of a Freemason) is aged just eighteen, with his farther Art Tucker full of pride to see his son join Freemasonry.
Also in attendance was Joshua’s brother, Gabriel who is an officer of the lodge and had the pleasure of leading his brother through the welcome ceremony. Following the meeting, all who stayed had the pleasure of an excellent meal and champagne reception at the Army and Navy Club in Pall Mall.
