What a fantastic evening, Morley Chapter No.8320 had at their Convocation on Friday 9th May! The air was buzzing with excitement as they installed their new Principals: Simon Oldfield (Z), Balvinder Hoonjan (H), and Colin Blackler (J). It was a truly super ceremony, made even more special by the involvement of their junior members, Simon Walmsley and Rich Jennings, who delivered the robe addresses. This marked a wonderful first for the Chapter!

But the changes didn't stop there.
There was also a significant shift in the team, with Jonathan Varley stepping into the role of Treasurer, Clive Watts taking up the mantle of Director of Ceremonies, and Robert Jones becoming the new Charity Steward. The Chapter was honoured to welcome Paul Wallace, Past Deputy Grand Superintendent, as the official visitor for the evening. His presence added to the gravitas of the occasion, and by the close of the night, there was no doubt in anyone's mind that the Morley Chapter is allegedly one of the premier Chapters in the Province.
The good times continued into the festive after-proceedings, where the Companions all enjoyed a delicious rump steak and chips. To top it all off, it was their very own Scribe E, Andy Green's, birthday! The Companions burst into a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday," making it a truly memorable evening for him and everyone present.
It was a perfect blend of tradition, camaraderie, and celebration!
