The esteemed Lodge of the Chevaliers de Fer No.9732 convened its first travelling meeting of the season at the historic Ashbourne Masonic Hall. Known for its camaraderie and shared passion for motorcycles, this special interest lodge once again upheld its traditions of fellowship and community engagement.
The evening's local host, Tony Highton, ensured a warm welcome for all attendees. Following the meeting, the celebrations continued at the Festive Board, a convivial gathering held at the nearby golf club. Attendees shared stories and enjoyed the camaraderie that defines the spirit of the lodge.

The meeting was notable for the addition of two new members to its ranks, marking an important milestone in the lodge's journey this season. Furthermore, Kevin Horler of Granite Lodge No.2028 was proposed as a candidate for future membership, signaling the lodge's continued growth and inclusivity.
Looking ahead, the lodge is set to host its next gathering in Glastonbury on July 19th. This upcoming meeting will feature a first-degree ceremony for candidate Craig Beesely, promising a memorable occasion steeped in tradition and significance.
